TITLE: 21ST CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER CERTIFIED TEACHER
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides and implements planned instructional activities for After School Program students.
REPORTS TO: Site Manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be over 18 years old
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Georgia Teaching Certificate required.
Any alternatives to the above as the Superintendent and Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for maintaining daily student attendance reports for assigned students
2. Maintains and follows accurate record keeping in compliance with procedures
when assigned to the front desk
3. Responsible for developing, planning, and implementing a variety of student
instructional activities
4. Responsible for behavior management of students
5. Follows daily time schedule as assigned by the director
6. Knowledge of and follows the site safety procedures
7. Attends and participates in After School Program staff meetings and required
training sessions
8. Assumes other duties as assigned by the site manager
Hours vary daily. Must be flexible on meeting and special event days.

1. Must understand how children and adults learn.
2. Must possess computer and associated technology skills.
3. Must have experience in project implementation.
4. Must have experience working with and knowledge of community resources.

Physical Demands: Position requires the operation of one or more of the following on a regular basis: telephone or other communication devices; personal computer, audio-visual equipment, copy machine, calculator, other specialized equipment typically used in an office setting. Lifting or moving up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Position requires sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting and reaching; normal finger dexterity, visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses), hearing, talking, and grasping are required to perform essential functions.
