Job Goal:
To assist the Nutrition Manager and/or Nutrition Director with duties in the kitchen/cafeteria as needed.
Qualifications
• GED or High school diploma is required.

• Set a good example in dress, arriving on time, observing workday schedule, and regular attendance.
• Working knowledge of National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs

Job Responsibilities
• Maintains the policies and standards of the Board of Education, state and federal school nutrition programs.
• Follows written and oral instructions from the Nutrition Manager or Nutrition Director.
• Rims dish room equipment during serving periods.
• Clean floors, walls baseboards and ceilings in an appropriate manner on a regular basis.
• Clean bathroom and provide needed supplies.
• Clean back porch, mop room and dumpster area as needed.
• Assists in unloading and putting up stock.
• Assists in keeping freezer, cooler and dry storage clean and organized.
• Assists with pest control measures.
• Assists in supervision and maintenance of all cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Attends regularly scheduled meetings.
• Makes recommendations for the improvement of the operation.
